Help please, my playing has become limited as I cant seem to launch the Horizons addon of Elite.
New again, long time VR player of Elite.
I originally bought Elite 4 years ago, and then when I re embraced it I went on Steam and bought Elite, Horizons and Commanders.
After that I just logged in through SteamVR and all was well.
However when I am on SteamVR I see three options, Elite, Horizons and Commanders, and it has that message about copying serial numbers for each. I originally did this from a non VR launch - but I was NEVER asked to enter the serials anywhere. More than that I dont remember it asking me for a new commander name, as I saw my old one.
Am I somehow associated with my original Elite Dangerous purchase?
When I go to Frontier I see only the purchase of Elite - several years ago, nothing about these new purchases.
When I close out VR, I always see this screen - but I never interact with it or launch from here.
It feels like Steam is launching my original Elite Only game.... but I dont know for sure, just guessing. I only know I dont have access to anything Horizons related in the game. (Note, I have long since reformatted, so that original Elite was not sitting on my harddrive....)
Any thoughts on how I can play Horizons please.....And of course not lose the association with my current commander and progress.
