Cannot open launcher. Get the message "only one copy of elite dangerous launcher can run at a time"

Any solutions to this?

I've only had it once, and even though I'd made sure there were no processes running, it still wouldn't start. Only solution was a reset, and I've not seen it since.

CTRL+ALT+DEL and check to see if there are any elite dangerous processes running already. Shut them down or restart your PC and re-launch
