Cannot rebuy ship - get scarlet krait transaction server error - I'm stuck!!

Anyone else stuck in this predicament?? I was at Deciat in open (foolish I know) and I was on foot at Farseer Engineering site (landed my Viper IV next to the landing pads so I could walk around and take a look) after engineering my ship, and another player attacked my ship.

I dismissed my ship as it was under attack in the vain hope it'd escape and I could recall it when the danger had passed. It got blown up as it was being dismissed.

So running 3.5km out of the settlement I called a taxi. Now when I go to the ship desk at a station, the only option I have is "My ship was destroyed, I'd like to rebut it" and on choosing it I instantly bomb out with a transaction server error and "scarlet krait"....

The network logs I submitted as part of my ticket to Frontier included the term ResurrectShipLooksWrong immediately before disconnect.

I was mentioning this here to see if anyone else has had this problem, and also in the vain hope that some community manager/contact folks can push my ticket ref 95730 to the front of the queue! I cannot play and am keen to redeem my merits as I finally had enough to get a reward after being allied to a superpower for many many weeks...

Even if they just put me back on foot on Deciat with my ship I'd be happy so that I can get in it and depart...

Haven't tried Horizons but I am worried what that'll be seen as by the game - I wonder if it'll take me straight to the rebuy screen??
Theoretically I am now at the nearby station but sans ship so who knows what Horizons would do in that circumstance....?

Farseer base is quite an interesting place on foot - the bridges go nowhere. I was landed between 3 pads so could take pot shots at people landing if I wanted - you should try it! I think the terrain there is squidgier in Odyssey just so you can actually walk around it.

My attacker had a good set of weapons - no idea what ship it was but I could see and hear the mayhem raining down on my ship as I hastily dismissed it and legged it.

If you are lucky, you'll get your ship in orbit, less lucky, rebuy screen... who knows!

Do you have a fine/bounty? If so, taxi somewhere with interstellar factors that doesnt have the faction your wanted/fined by, and clear it.

Then you can pick up your ship. (It might work if you just taxi somewhere you are not wanted)

I think this error happens because your bounty gives you anonymous access, and using the shipyard (in the background) requires none anonymous access.

Good luck, report back. (This happened to me and this fixed it)

I'm also having this problem. I tried to remove my fine/bounty and going to a system i'm not wanted, but it didn't work. I'm rising a ticket to FDev.
