Cannot sell cargo, cargo reporting wrong amounts, no support response

Hi,

I'm curious as to what I should expect from Frontier Support given that right now, my Type-6 is sat in dock and I've been unable to sell cargo for ages.

I followed the advice given in other threads about jettisoning and capturing cargo to reset my cargo count, I've even just abandoned cargo (all of it) to try and reset my cargo count - nothing works.

The commodities list in station shows I have X tonnes or rare cargo to sell. I can't sell any of it - "unable to complete transaction". The problem is, when this started over a week ago, I dumped and abandoned all my cargo. This cargo did exist (but I couldn't sell it) then I dumped it so it doesn't exist, yet it still does and I can't sell it. It's taking up cargo space which means trading is basically useless as 50% of my cargo space is unavailable and I'm not sure I could sell anything I buy anyway.

I opened a ticket (39139) , supplied DXDiag and all that jazz over a week ago - and there's been absolutely no response or acknowledgement.

Anyone got any advice for how to resolve this please?

Thanks

If really desperate, destroying your ship (strip it down first) and then buying another one back again works.

I've destroyed the ship and started over.

I can't really believe that this is the solution - it means that whatever the reason for this is, it could happen again. And that's a deeply unattractive thing to have hanging around your neck if as a trader, you're faced with serious time investment to build up cash reserves to buy the bigger/better ships.

You are right. Its not the solution, but a very expensive sticking plaster. My advice is to keep a log so when it happens again you can get reimbursed, again, you shouldnt have to, but thats the way things are.
