Cannot transfer stored module to ship

Try to transfer to ship the modified sensor module, but it wont allow me to do this. if I go back to the core internal and select the current sensor module, it doesn't give me the option to swap with the stored sensor module.

Was under the impression that you could place lower spec/type module within a higher spec slot.

No its not 'hot', it was a modified module in my previous ASP Explorer ship, which was then stored.

Some you can, some you can't. Use something like https://coriolis.io/outfit/krait_phantom to see what is valid. Or outfitting. Ideally module transfer would disable illegal moves rather than let you try them, but it seems it does not...

Yeah, for sensors and life support, you are stuck with the size the ship came with. No size reductions permitted.
