Cannot understand getting to 50% Genome from missions/contracts

[Hogweed Blitz]

I have 2 missions: Acquire 50% Genome: Ceratosaurus (Mission for Dracorex), and Acquire 50% Genome: Edmontosaurus (Missions for storm defense station )..

Both my Ceratosaurus & Edmontosaurus dinos in the Creation lab under incubate Dinosaur for the "Genome Progress" bar are at 100%.

How can I get a mission for something I can not complete?
Does that mean I cant get the Dracorex or the storm defense station ? Or if I terminate these missions, will they pop up in other missions later on?

Been looking all over for this one, cant find any help... appreciate any assistance!

Nevermind... I didnt know i had to "start" it. I thought it was running, I just saw the bottom to start mission. Feel really dumb.. It was the 3rd part of a series of missions, just have to release one of both now. Sorry if I confused the !!!!! out of anyone.
