Since that post, we've had Elite: Legacy by Michael Brookes, which I believe is also set in AD 3300.
You've then got The Unexpected Guest (Click here to read) by me, and the forthcoming Elite: Premonition by Drew Wagar.

Yes. That was a requisite of them becoming official fiction. They were checked by Frontier to ensure consistency with the game. This was also the reason why we wrote the sourcebooks to ensure consistency.
There are one or two elements which have changed. Micro-jumping for example is used in the Gollancz novels, which isn't the jump system in game.

I think it would be better to start a new thread as the OP has omitted titles from his list. I've requested that it be unstickied and something else be put up.
My mistake, I meant for you to update your post in reply to the OP, in the thread on chronology.
Drew's thread on guide to official fiction is a different matter, the OP itself needs an update.
And maybe the best result is to unsticky those two threads and start a new one, as you suggest.
