Fiction Canon, reading order and sources

Hi,

I just finished the "Dark Wheel" (again) to get back into the Eliteverse.

Now I wonder about the chronological order on how to read further.

I strongly assume the next are "Tales from the Frontier" and "Further tales from the frontier". Coming to the question: I have these with my copies of Frontier and Frontier II in physical, but I want to read on my Kindle. Now I found an online source of the stories, but not in Kindle (mobi) format. I don't know if its okay to link them here (legally wise), but it's only a google away. Is there a (legal) source of these stories in Mobi format?

And then: What is the correct order of the new Books?

I've removed the link for now, Check with Michael Brookes if FD are ok with the content. Depending on what they say you may be able to post the link.

Better safe than sorry.

I think the chronological order is

The Dark Wheel - 3125
Tales from the Frontier (original version!) -3200
Further Tales from the Frontier - 3250
Elite: Lave Revolution -3265
Elite: Reclamation -3297

All the other stories I believe are set in 3300AD, though I'm aware that some of the short stories from the new Anthology are set at different times throughout history, so you'll need to pick and choose.

Cheers,

Drew.

Actually, it is

The Dark Wheel - 3125
Stories of Life on the Frontier -3200
Further Stories of Life on the Frontier - 3250
Elite: Lave Revolution -3265
Elite: Reclamation -3297

Tales from the Frontier is the name of the new Elite Anthology. ;) There are stories in it that are set as early as 2450 while others are set several years before or in 3300.

Oops! Well corrected there, Marko.

Cheers,

Drew.

Yes, Imprint fits in between those two.

For reference, my fan fiction Oolite Saga takes place in 3142-49, which was the date the Oolite community decided Oolite itself was set. Not canon obviously.

Drew.

Although not yet ready for release, Out of the Darkness takes place in 3275, between a Revolution and a Reclamation.

(I wish I could think of a title with an 'R' word in it. ;) )

How about

Elite: Refulgent ? :)

Cheers,

Drew.

Great word, but I had to Google it, and it's a little too bright for the story.

Actually, there's always Elite: Revelation, but that's just going to confuse people, although it does open the advertising possibility that any self-respecting Elite fan must know their three Rs. :)
