[Canonn / RockRats?] Could we OCR FSS screenshots to ident Geo/Bio POIs?

If I find anything of interest I take a screenshot of it (I know, I know I'm going to have thousands of these!). I also do this for FSS results of body scans.

Fortunately I have Voz's excellent SSC (Screen Shot Changer) to instantly convert them to tiny jpg's and automagically rename them to the region I'm in! https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/170156-Screen-Shot-Changer

Would there be any way of someone who's cleverer than me (there are plenty of you!) creating an OCR reader to get the System / Body Name, Locations of Interest (Geo, Bio, Xeno), Number of POIs and Type (listed under Volcanism)?

Would this be worth doing and then asking Cmdrs to upload their own screenshots to some sort of repository to aid in the RockRats / Canonn attempt to catalogue as many systems as they can?

e.g.

(I already have over 150 of these and we're only a couple of weeks in!)

Not exactly what you're after, but have you heard of/seen this tool:

You still have to manually enter the number & type of POI, but everything else is done automagically. There's even a way to auto-generate a full map of a planet using a script.

Thanks for the link. This would work but I now have hundreds of images.

I was hoping someone clever could OCR the text in the images.

I seem to remember that before we had EDDB, etc. that someone used a similar OCR method for reading screen shots of the commodity prices?
