Horizons canonn.science doesn´t work

Greetings Cmdrs!

I really wanted to join some sort of group interested in solving the Elite mysteries, but I can´t seem to find any kind of organized group. I tried out canonn.science, but the homepage doesn´t work. Is there anyone pulling the threads, telling people how they can contribute with manpower (instead of brainpower)? Surely it would be good having more Cmdrs survey planets and systems.

Thank you for both of your replies! Regarding the mystery thread. Yes. That is what got me hooked and I read about the Canonn there, but I cannot access the site canonn.science. Thank you very much Snooch leBooch, but when I click the link you provided it doesn´t work. Do you know if their page is down?

I'm currently on it, there have been no problems reported whatsoever as far as i know - that's why i was asking if the problem was with finding a way to register, but if you cant even get it to show for you.. that's strange. What does the page show, any errors or just a white screen? Maybe clear browser cache or try a different browser? It's a wordpress page, ever experienced problem with those? -also, if you are using a ftp that might be the cause..

Your determination is admirable. There usually is stuff to do, but it's often hard to keep up! The recruit page seems ok from here.

I have tried to access the canonn.science site with different browsers, and I will eventually try it on another computer. I just find i really strange that the webpage doesn't work. First it takes forever to load and then It just says that the browser couldn't find the DNS adress to the server. Guess the Thargoids hacked you guys.

On a more serious note. I would be very grateful if anyone had any answers to why I am unable to acess the canonn.science webpage.

Working fine here also. If it's a DNS error it could be caused by a number of things.

1) Some countries use DNS blocking to restrict access to the internet for certain sites, so it may be country related, I am in Australia and it's fine here, you could try using a VPN.

2) DNS updates get propagated around the net to ISP's and sometimes the address table becomes corrupted and users are unable to address certain sites, this should be a temporary issue and may fix itself in a day or two.

3) Anti-malware and anti-virus software sometimes use a list of DNS addresses to protect your computer from malicious sites, this is usually updated several times a week from the AV vendors website, try disabling AV ad AM software temporarily to see if it changes anything.

There are a other reasons why DNS checking fails but that's three to go on with.
