Canopy concept

I'd like to see some variety in ship canopy designs. Right now, we have a lot of heavy, reinforced canopies where the pilot is sitting down in the cockpit.

I'd like to see some very streamlined, lightweight bubble canopies where the only thing in front of the CMDR is a very narrow HUD projection bar, and the CMDR can look freely down, up, and to the sides through the glass.

You can't look down through any of the Imperial cockpits.

A bigger bubble in front would look amazing on a liner. Beluga Mk2?

Kraits have fairly good view down as well.

Yeah, Kraits and Asps aren't terrible, but they still have that huge clunky console in the way.

Id be for cutting down the vulture's canopy, its such an oversized monstrosity. As for the games fleet of ships I'm happy with the range of cockpits they've made.
