seriously we need a way to reinforce the canopy on ships. or make it a part of the armor you buy, or as part of the hull reinforcement. something needs to be done. flying a ship that cost a billion credits and getting canopy popped in 5 seconds is just stupid. having the canopy mods restrict your field of view would be a nice trade-off. make it add metal plates over parts of the canopy. have a more expensive material used for it. transparent aluminum is a real thing now, so it is not a stretch to think that military oriented ships would use a stronger material then some non-specific plastic that acts like metal yet somehow shatters like a dropped plate from a few hits. just an idea.
