Can't attack trackIR to monitor

Just bought the trackIR 5, but am having some trouble attaching the camera thing to the monitor, it's too thin to attach the base to it, in the instruction manual they show it clipped to a much bulkier monitor, whereas mine is the thickness of an average laptop, surely Natural Point have thought of this?

If any TrackIR users have any ideas, I would love to hear them

That's really the only solution? Seems to be a bit of a design oversight? I didn't expect to pay £100 + just to get a product which doesn't fit on my device without the use of Gaffer tape..

If uve spread the feet as wide as they can go (thus allowing it to sit on as thin a monitor able) and still no success, try getting packaging popcorn and slide onto the feet.

buy a webcam mount off ebay? only a few quid. Know you shouldnt but sounds like you might have to
