Newcomer / Intro Can't buy limpets

Yes, operating advanced maintenance and no restock option. Now, I wonder if I have to buy a new unit as I did accidentally fire something at the last station. I am following a tutorial and have not got to the point that tells me exactly what I did fire lol..

Just go somewhere that has them, not everywhere does. Or synth some, then the option to buy even more will magically appear 
That's the reason. Station-Services MUST include "Restock".
Are you "clean" at that station? If you fired something at it you may be a crim and the station facilities will be closed until you pay off the fine - either at that station of via the interstellar factions.

Something has changed. I can't buy limpets from my home station where I've bought them before, and even Jameson Memorial (the station that supposedly sells everything) doesn't sell limpets.
At least, not when your stock is zero. Synthesise some, and the limpet buy/sell section of Restock reappears, allowing you to either sell those you've just made, or buy more.
This looks like a new bug.

Do you have fitted a limpet-controller on your ship?
...Ah. I guess what's changed is that the ship I'm now in doesn't have a limpet controller anymore...
I think there's a bug. I was working from a station in a system near Maia. Most times I went to the station, I could replenish my limpets, but about 1 in 20 times, the option just didn't come up, so iI had to fly to another system to get them, then they were back again the next time I visited the original station. The first time it happened, I thought that it was maybe just a change that I didn't understand, but it happened randomly about 3 or 4 times, and I relogged the last time to see if that would fix it, but it didn't.
So, either its a bug or FD have introduced random lack of limpets in the station, like when modules suddenly disappear from the outfitting and then reappear on another visit.
