Can't change weather/time anymore?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a change in the game, but during beta in Franchise mode I could click on the weather information in the status bar and change the time of day or weather from there. Now clicking does nothing.

That is for sandbox mode... not franchise mode it was only in for beta for testing because there wasn't sandbox mode.

Yeah it's just for Sandbox. I finally got onto Franchise today and the first thing I did was try and change the time of day so I could have better lighting while building and when I couldn't I was just like -

Well crap. I liked locking the time of day so I could see things better, and just now I wanted to make it rain to test some shelters.

As long as your shelters have a roof they'll work. Could always just hop over to Sandbox to try them if you really wanted to though.

You can just adjust the opening times of your zoo to only include daytime, this way it will never get dark.
