Can't claim money for kills in Durius?

Hey guys, quick question

Been fighting in Durius (for the Empire because like hell am I fighting a capital ship) and I hear you can get paid for kills, but not sure how?

The local combat bond section at the nearest station has nothing (expected since it's not an Empire system), however the nearest Empire system also has nothing under the combat bond voucher section (as I think they're redeemed locally?)

Can anyone help? Proper fun fighting in those battles by the way, highly recommend it (though I'd come in at least a well-kitted Eagle)

Check your Transaction screen for the bounties on the ships you killed (assuming they were hostiles, wanted). They will tell you the faction who will pay the bounty. You have to visit a station owned by them to collect. Dumb isn't it? With the technology in 3300 ad. EDIT: And if you died, you lose all uncollected bounties.

The local stations will pay those bonds.

Do you have bonds showing in your Transactions Tab on the Left UI screen?

When you enter the combat zone you must go to the functions tab on the right hand UI panel and use the 'Select Faction' option. If you don't, no bonds will be collected.

Glad you're fighting for the right side, even if for dubious reasons.

You have to manually drive in, park up and collect your bounties from the matching factions bounty office because apparently no one has heard of electronic transfer.

Hardly that it's beta, I imagine simply giving you the loot immediately would be a lot easier to code than storing the bounty vouchers and coding up a bulletin board contact you have to use...

One presumes that it's that way because they want you to actually survive the encounter, ie back to a safe docking spot.

I think this is excellent game mechanics else it becomes like an arcade game.
death is now a serious matter.
it makes players play far more realistic.

In early Beta, your bounties were automatically added to your account.

Then it was changed to the current system to force players to make hard desicions as whether to engage another target or return to base to cash in.

Just lost 500,000cr worth of bounty vouchers today because I made a bad call and got axed by an Anaconda just as I had damaged it enough to cause it to flee. Felt pretty stupid afterwards floating in deep space with my drives gone and slowly runnning out of oxygen.
