Horizons Can't complete mission

Hello there
I'm pretty new on Elite Dangerous and started a mission I have to deliver CMM Composite. I found a great DB online showing me where I can find it. So I flew there but was unable to get the CMM Composite (it was system Ekuru). I checked the DB again concerning the station I have to go to. The name was not visible in my Ekuru system (Lounge Holdings). I only have Dana Platform and Knight Plan station there. Then I made some further researches and found out that the two missing stations are so called planet stations! On further researches I found out I need Horizon installed. I'm playing on Mac where Horizon is no topic yet (altough I have a planet landing suite in each of my ships).
I checked the mentioned DB again and all stations I could get CMM Composite (Industrial Good) are only available on planet stations! Thats a bit frustrating! So my questions are:
@Players:
- Can I find/buy goods located only on planet stations also somehow on other stations (without having Horizon installed)?
- Without Horizon: Do I have to check every items availabilty before I accept the mission or can I see/smell on the item what type it is (source: space station, planetary station)?
- Are there other mission critical things I have to consider without Horizon installed? (f.e. I can't complete any illegal salvage missions where I have to find stuff inside unidentified signals, maybe also Horizon thingy?)
@Frontier (if all my assumptions are correct):
- Why do you offer missions that someone without Horizon installed can't complete?
- When do you plan to publish Horizon for Mac users?

I know this is probably too late for your mission, but I'll post it anyway. I'm pretty new to ED as well, but I had the same problem you had -- I had a deliveries to both Lounge Holdings and Titov Vision (yep, took on two missions at once -- I figured they were in the same system and it would be an efficient use of time) but the system data on Ekuru did not have any information on the station. Unfortunately, I took on both missions without making sure I could find the stations ... it took me a while to figure out what I needed to do.

You have the planetary landing suite, which means you have Horizon and you CAN complete this mission. If you are willing to spend some credits to purchase the data about the system ("Buy Trade Data" option in the galaxy map) this gives you the information you don't have about the system, including the location of the Lounge Holdings station. Once you have the trade data, you can dock at the "hidden" planetary bases there (and thus complete your mission).

There may be other alternatives, but I don't know them yet. But this one worked for me.

The other option is to scan the landable planets to discover the bases, if any they have on them. Bit of a pain but you can complete your missions and later sell the exploration data so it is not a total waste.
