Can't complete trainingh mission

I'm trying to complete the training mission. I'm told to overcharge the airlock panel. No matter how long I try to overcharge it with the energy tool the airlock doesn't open. Any suggestions?

It was the same for me. FDevs cannot even make Tutorial working flawlessly. I can image the number of bugs in the entire DLC. LOL

(Sorry if this is a stupid question) but did you switch the mode? You have to press "R" to switch the energy tool to overcharge mode.
