I've experienced the whole "Can't connect to server" at the main menu issue multiple times this year, this time it's different. Back story on this odd issue... After starting the game and spawning into my ship (Bolton orbital in Zhao)..blah, blah.
I opened outfitting and proceeded to select a transfer of my 6A Fuel Scoop from my saved inventory and at the exact time i pressed "A" to select... black screen. After an eerie 10 seconds of silence in my then pitch black living room, the game rebooted.
Once i was back at the main menu... i could go no further. The start/friends and private groups were grayed out and i only get the "Can't connect to server".
Here is what I've done to try and remedy the problem: FYI- (i'm wired, 35MB internet DL speed, 0% packet loss, 26ms latency, open NAT)
Rebooted, deleted saved game space data, cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. No workie.
Furthermore, all my other games work just fine... FarCry 5, Assassins Creed Origins...etc.
In addition, my son's console (xbox1x) with ED works just fine, no issues and he's wireless.:O
I have a trouble ticket in with Frontier, but they're saying 48hrs for a response. I'm at a loss and need some help or guidance on this.[???]
