Hi everyone, I know this probably isn't the best place to post this but I can't find another and I can't go to support. So I haven't touched this game in about 3 years, I saw a YouTube video on it and got really excited to jump back into my Python. However, I am totally unable to access my account, this forum account I believe is linked to a different email than my frontier account. When I reset the password for the account I thought was my Frontier account and logged into the main website, I found that I didn't have the option to download the game, only to Buy it along with the Horizons DLC which I had already purchased years ago. Is there anything I can do if the only account I seem to have access to is my forum account, the account associated with the other email doesn't seem to own a copy of the game, and there is apparently no account associated to the email I use for the forum? To clarify I never linked my account to steam or anything like that, I already tried to log in with Steam and simply got an error.

To clarify my issue is that despite being able to log into the website, the only option I have is to buy the game, which I already have done. I was thinking that maybe I was logging in through the wrong account but when I logged in through the website, it greeted me by my commanders name, “Kbear”, and when I logged into support, it showed the old tickets I submitted to support, so I know it’s the correct account that I had purchased the game with but for some reason now it’s telling me I have to buy the game again?
Did you go to the left side menu on the website and click on the option that says "my downloadable products". If you did what was there, nothing? Mine are all there from many years ago when I first payed for the game. It should say "Remaining Downloads - unilmited" for any game files you paid for.
If that doesn't work contact support and tell them that you can't download your purchased products. The support team is pretty kind, fast and helpful, they'll resolve the issue for you.
They are usually quick, but do remember office hours; it's only 7:43 in the morning here.
Look on the bright side OP - if you buy the game again to dive back in, and then get the first account sorted, you have your Alt Cmdr right there!

Yeah there is no left side menu on the website for me, under the elite logo it just says "CMDR KBEAR" and "Arx 0", I'll try contacting support but for some reason Ive been having trouble getting to the place where I can actually ask about my issue rather than an FAQ
Then you are on the wrong website, I have no information about ARX on the front page of the website at all, did you use the login as above?

You would need to use your email address and password when you purchased the game.
This forum can use the same credentials as the Frontier Store, but this Forum account and the Frontier Store accounts are not linked, so unless you used the same credentials in both the Frontier Store and this website, they may not be the same.
Why can't you go to Frontier Support and put in a ticket?
Also, If you have not been to this forum in three years, the old Forum was taken down and upgraded to this one.
Ah, I suspect you are on the "gamestore", that's where it shows my name and arx count, you need the customer login as above, that's the company website. You are on the incorrect website, the one where you can download the game files is a different website altogether. The Frontier Developments site has all their products, Planet Zoo, Planet Coaster etc, the website you are on is just for buying game extras for Elite, use the customer login supplied here and above.
The same login applies for both sites, this is correct I have just tested it, the one listed in Maylor Rom's post is the one you should be going to. That is not the one you are logging into.

Don't forget, if you go to the Elite Dangerous site and click on "download for PC" it takes you to the Steam site, so that's actually four.
Your forum account is not necessarily the same as your actual frontier account. Best suggestion, start trying other email accounts.

You mean the gamestore (dlc.elitecangerous.com) site - the frontierstore.net site doesn't take you to steam if you try to buy the game. Personally I am totally unamused by the creep of Steam into the game.

Ah yes the root domain for the Arx / gamestore one - I forgot about that. So yes even more invasive of Steam - have they bought-out The Braben or have that Chinese lot that bought into F D also bought Steam? So much for F D being an independent publisher, they seem to be becoming totally dependant on Steam for distribution.
