Can't drop at Dav's Hope anymore

As the title says, the game won't allow me near Dav's Hope for some reason. Was there this afternoon to collect some mats, tried to rellog to reset the instance, and was greeted by a 3 minute long loading screen.
After that, every try to enter the game prompted me with a long loading screen followed by a message saying "can't connect to frontier servers". I thought it was a problem with the srv, so I logged into the non-horizons version to get my ship into orbit, and then returned to horizons to try again.
This time i managed to enter the game, but then trying to drop into glide near Dav's gave me the same error and booted me out to the main menu. I tested droping in other regions of the planet, to see if the problem was with the planetary landing itself, but I had no problems dopping and landing in other locations. Is anyone near Dav's at the moment to see if this is a problem in my end? Or maybe FD is tweking something there and I just have to wait?

Did you try Solo mode? Sometimes lengthy loading screens and crashes can be due to the game trying to connect you to an incompatible player who's in the instance. Planetary side takes longer than space to sort itself out in my experience.

Yes, switch to Solo and all should be well .... if there's a lot of commanders there (and Dav's Hope has had a lot of publicity recently and the need for his materials is high with the new engineers) you will get the kind of problem you described.

I usually go there in solo anyway. Returning to the main menu respawns everything but the datapoint anyway.

I've never looked into what the fuss is with this dav's hope place, but what's this about ever-spawning materials? Sounds worth checking out.

Been getting connection errors when trying to load in Dav's Hope today.

I'm now using Synuefe JB-G b58-6, Body 6 H, Exploration Camp C-NO4, -22.132, 177.706. The base is the same format as Davs Hope, and scan point is also re-scannable. As far as I can tell, I'm getting all the same materials/data that Dav's gave me.
