I've been all over Imperial space looking for 8A thrusters for my Cutter. I've check sites like Roguey and edsm and gne to dozens of stations that are supposed to have them I'm guessing there's a divide between the PC Elite and the XBOX / console edition, so those sites aren't accurate. Nonetheless I've usually had decent luc with them pointing me in the right direction until now. I've over 230 million credits, so I should have enough cash and I've emptied my ship so the mass also shouldn't be an issue. I'm currently in Xi Hara - any help finding my wayward 8As would be immensely appreciated!

If you have an Elite rank in any category: Jameson Memorial - Shinrarta Dezhra
If no Elite ranks: i Sola Propect - Brestla
These two stations will have all outfitting options available, be aware while things are discounted 10% Jameson, everything at i Sola Prospect will be 20% more expensive than average.
This should still be the same in Legacy 3.8, while most third party sites only display data from 4.0. Since outfitting depends on obscure BGS factors in most other systems, third party info probably won't be reliable for Legacy, just like commodities prices.

Look at these systems: Mizar, Khernidjal, Kokojina, Ho Hsi, Faust 68.
Congratulations, you just paid a 20% mark up that will impact both rebuy, transfer and cleaning modules of wanted status.
Next time use INARA.CZ and buy in LYR space for a 15% discount, cheaper again than Jameson Memorial which is only 10% discount.
as stated earlier in the thread, OP is playing in Legacy. INARA.CZ is only good for Live.
if OP stumbles across cheaper 8A Thrusters, they can always sell the more expensive 8A Thrusters they currently have installed and then simply purchase the cheaper ones. problem solved and no snark needed.
