Horizons Can't find any surface missions

Hi,

A few weeks back I was picking up surface missions at hubs to go find escape pods and such. There was a major patch that came out, and since then I haven't been able to find a single surface mission anywhere. At hubs on planets I find missions that are available, as well as ones that I'm not eligible for, but none appear to be surface missions. I haven't seen a single escape pod mission since that last major patch.

Anyone have any suggestions as to where they might be hiding ?

I cannot name any system with solid and permanent surface missions all the time but anarchy and independent systems offer many surface missions near engineer systems (Khun, Wyrd, Deciat).
According to my experience, platforms offer these sort of missions more often than capitals.
You might also try swapping between solo and open at a station and check the mission boards.

I haven't seen a single escape pod mission since that last major patch.

i've done plenty of them, but they now fall under a name like 'liberate X hostages' - but showing the Horizons icon + SRV requirement warning indicating they are planetside missions, unlike the similarly named space-borne hostage missions which require cargo theft.

but unlike the old 2.0 ones, the new ones usually require you to go to another system or to another planet within your current system - in 2.1 i haven't seen much/any of the type that had 'destination: planet' e.g. the planet you are currently on, they were very common in 2.0
