Can't find asteroid belt in Coelrind!

Hi all, reading in reddit.com that Coelrind is one of the best systems to mine I went there but can't find asteroids near Coelrind star as the system map shows. Why? No more asteroids there in 1.03? What nearby Systems for good mining (gold, palladium....) do you recommend me?
I would love to start mining.....!!! :)

I think it might be because you haven't "discovered" them. In most systems where you go for the first time (and subsequent times), if you haven't bought cartographic data for the system or haven't explored it, the location of celestial bodies will not appear to you. You either have to discover them with your discovery scanner (if you still have it equipped) or buy the data from Universal Cartographics. For that, go to the galaxy map, select the Coelrind system if it isn't already and look at the icons displayed. One of them allows you to buy cartographic data.

Either way, you'll get your asteroid clusters to appear :)

Can't recommend any place to mine though, I haven't tried that profession.

Exploring Coelrind, can't find nothing!!!! Minerals? Palladium? Only in Gamma? There is an unexplored star, but can't discover :-( Where shall I go for Palladium, gold nearby?

Here's something to try:
Create a new weapon group and assign the discovery scanner to it. Activate the scanner using whatever button you've assigned it to. It should show the undiscovered stuff in that system.

You might also want to look the time stamp of the reddit post talking of Coelrind because the galaxy was reset several times during Beta and even if the star names didn't change the celestial bodies inside did change : you asteroid belt or ringed world may not be there anymore.
