As the title suggests I can't find osmium at pristine metallic ring in the system Delkar.Am I doing something wrong?

Try a different pristine.. they don't all have the same mix of stuff..
Did this change with 2.1 .. it used to be you simply re-dropped on the same ring to generate a new mix (at least that was my experience). Are ring contents now fixed somehow ?

Yes, the Dweller uses it for grade 3 sturdy mount upgrade to pulse lasers
I think all the mining only commodities are used somewhere, i've seen osmium, platinum, samarium and one of the ice ring minerals so far - if only we had a place to store some of these!
Foiund some in Aritimi 5 and that's not even a pristine ring.
pristine rings have higher %'s in the asteroids the compositions the same - so If you are looking for just osmium for example you can go to any metallic and you'll be able to find some its just faster at a pristine.
Osmium is indeed very rare in larger quantities.
Its not much problem finding some osmium but when you need 50t or more for missions thats a problem

Go for Tamar. There is a dead sun and a metallic ring around. I mined Osmium a lot there.
Not sure after 2.1 though.

Yes they do. They are rng based and this is well documented.
