Can't find Painite

Is there a bug anywhere about it?
I scanned over 100 asteroids in a Pristine Metallic Ring, in different areas of it. I'm about to give up!
Can I just buy it and deliver it to Selene Jean?
Alternatives?

You can't buy it on the market. People can jettison it for you though.

Innermost pristine metallic rings will do.

Oddly enough, the best way to get painite is to have a cargo scanner and steal it from actual miners.

I always go to Delkar 7A inner ring. Is it in 6A too? You say the inner ring, but a couple of nights ago I went to Delkar 6A by mistake. The only reason I knew that I was in the wrong place was because I didn't see the inner ring!
