Newcomer / Intro Cant find T7 shields i think

Hi,I an kitting out a T7 and cant seem to install sheilds. All of the shields are redded out due to much mass, so does this mean that the class of shield I need is not available at the station I am at or is there something else I am missing. I have no weapons in any of the slots.

I suggest you outfit in a High tech System , i noticed you have a higher chance of finding everything you need there. I used to fly a type 7 before ,im not sure if i am correct but i think the smallest possible Shields are either class 3 or class 4 Shields ,i can't remember , classes 2 and 1 shield will be redded out . If you are in an Agricultural or Terraforming system , then im sure you wont find everything you need . I hope this helps .

thanks I am heading to a High tech class with huge population system, I have my cheeks clentched for no interdictions along the way, I do not want to rinse and repeat

as I have had to do that once due to a 1.1.05 bug that blew me away took a week for me to get back where my T7 was stached and I was broke

Oh well it is a dangerous place we fly in

but ya just gota love it

What class slot are you trying to put shields in?

The class 2 slots are no good for the T7 as the Hull mass is too high. Class 4 and up should be fine.
