Can't FSD due to "Hardpoints/gear/scoop deployed" even though nothing's deployed!

As the title says, for some reason I get the "Frameshift cancelled: Hardpoints/gear/scoop deployed" error even though I've checked multiple time that I've turned everything off, I 've also tried rebooting the ship and restarted the game 3 times and I still can't FSD. Is this a known bug or am I missing something, I just need some help because currently I can't even play this game...

Check the external cam to see if the cargo scoop isn't deployed, check if the 3 lights on the bottom right are off and if you have no hardpoints deploy them and retract them. This happened to a friend once I think he restarted the game completely if not try submitting a bug report

When you get that error just hit X. it will do that sometimes with the discovery scanner, dont know why but it clears it.

Yep thanks, it works now! Started playing some other games while waiting for an answer over here and when I started up Elite up again it suddenly worked... Guess I had to completely restart the game for it to work again. Weird how a bug like this hasn't been fixed...

I think if you hit x even with discoveryscanner on screen it acts like deploying hard points even tough nothing is deployed i did it near a hub once and got a warning and a fright .
