cant get elite running on 3 screens with 780ti

Well I've been scrabbling around trying to get it to work on three screens. I've googled it to death, checked the forums and still no joy. Obviously I'm missing something pretty basic but would appreciate a pointer in the right direction.

I have a 4770k, evga 780ti, 3 x dell U2711 plugged into the display port and 2 x dvi ports on the 780ti. When I start E it appears in the middle screen and the two out side screens go black.
I have configured surround and that appears to be working. BTW am using windows 8.1
Any ideas?

that video was for the old alpha 1.1, the premium beta is a bit different as far as I know with regards ti tweaking it to make it better, I use eyefinity and it works for me I do not get any issues from that video also nvidia has nvidia surround, all I can say really with regard to nvidia surround try and change the resolution to match all 3 monitorsin ED, so for example in the resolution screen of ED you should be able to change the resolution to much high if all 3 screen are recognized by windows, if not then you have a setup issue, for eyefinity they all have to be 1 monitor and not 3 seperate monitors

thanks guys. got it working. In the resolution modes I hadn't scrolled down far enough to see the 6000ishx1440 res mode Doh!

One thing I have noticed is the quality of the ship sprites and space station windows when docked has gone **** up. they are a mess of criss crossed lines now.

Will play and see if it's just my set up.

Hey all,

I am having the exact same issue in 5040x1050 16:9 resolution. Nvidia Surround.

Has there, or is there a known workaround or any advice that could address the issue with the menu being split?
