Can't get gold in Myers Animal Entertainment Park despite reaching the goals.

I have completed all the goals for this zoo except the one where I need 4 species in the same habitat and welfare to be at 80%. However the goal shows it has reached 80% and just sits there without completing. I've tried restarting the game but no luck. Anyone got any ideas please?

Have you tried raising it above 80% across your habitats? I'm just speculating but if the calculation is showing 80% but the game rounds up to whole percentages in the display then you might be hovering around 79.5% and so it might not register. Got to be honest I'm impressed you managed to get exactly 80% - mine is never a round number!

Yeah, try to get it over 80% and see if that works. Also make sure there really are at least four different species in there, then it should count.

Thanks, I will try it but will require some major fixes in a couple of habitats where I've let them go thinking I was going to achieve this goal imminently. I did think it might have something to do with a hidden decimal but was getting frustrated that it kept topping out at 80% once the animals stopped being stressed.

I've got the Pronghorn Antelope, Springbok, Plains Zebra, and Common Warthog all in the habitat. As it was taking time to complete, I did think it was because some of the animals were getting old but all the original animals from the start of the scenario have died out and I'm left with their offspring and a couple of adoptions as well.
