I've bred grinding for about 3 days now, the first day was completely on getting to Sirius, these past two days I've been in Sirius waiting for the invite while doing missions, no invite has appeared, am I missing something?

Are you at the outpost "O'Brien Vision" in Sirius? It's a bit of a trek, but the invitation mission spawns there more often than at Patterson. Medium or small pads only.
