Can't get out of supercruise into my friends (or any) FSD?!

Hi there

Got a little problem... tested twice following: going into supercruise, and cruise up to a fresh left FSD signature... of my friend... I locked it, approached it as I do for stations or whatever, and when I want quit Supercruise at the right 'jump-out' out time, I get a message about Spacecloud not scanned or whatever.... WEll, I just can't follow someone into his local left FSD.

Also, in supercruise, if xyz JUMPS away into another system, I can't scan his FSD, but have an FSD wake scanner onboard, powered, ready.... seems I can't deploy anything in supercruise as I could for scanning planets around... what am I doing wrong?! Or bug?

Seems to fall into two categories "Works fine for me" and "Doesn't work broken". Personally its the latter for me. There are quite a few posts about it but the devs are on holidays so meh if they don't care it must work fine.
