Newcomer / Intro Cant join wings

Hello, my mate and i just brought the game and are loving it but why exaxtly cant we join a wing together? Even on the private game we are both in?

More info please - what processes are you following to instigate the wing? Where is it failing.

As an aside, there is plenty on the forums recently about instancing failures with particular reference to wings. Not having the same problems myself but that could be because my wingmate is my Son, in the same house and therefore identical ISP/ Fibre and pretty much same spec PC. (I believe some of the problems are down to lowest common denominator of wingmates in terms of performance (Technological not skill! )

Exactly what it says private lobby can wing together, reset our routers and restart console still nothing one stays in the lobby and the other leaves and joins multiple times to try and force instance and still nothing and went to open same system same station tryed and nothing, the game can see that were both on yet wont let us join each other every time i click invite to wing it either stays blue and eventually cuts out or cuts back to the green comms thing straight away

And w re both on xbox and both have nbn it that helps?
