Engineers Can't land at Bill Turner's place...

So I mined the bromellite, got the Alioth permit and tootled over to Mr Turner but I am unable to land. My DC gets to 600m and going straight down to the pad as per usual but hits something and stops. Have tried this several times with the same result. It's like there's rock in the way but there isnt. Looks like he is stuck at the bottom of a canyon but i was making final entry straight down to the pad. Anyone else had any probs or know what might be the issue?

And please no digs about not using a DC ....

erm ... sorted now. i think i must have been too close when i enabled the DC and hit the sides of the canyon. have delivered the bromellite so can get on with the rest of my life now

Was going to suggest landing without the DC. It can be a bit iffy, but glad you have it sorted now

@dayrth... think it was the wide turning circle of the annie and the proximity of the cliffs and the fact that i was only about 4k up when i engaged. No trouble with the asp and python or the annie from 7.5k out. Thanks for your input!
