When I drop to a planet, I usually like to leave my ship at altitude and scout the area in a SLF. Now, when I drop in the fighter, I am immediately transported back into orbit in the fighter, which then promptly explodes because it is more than the allowable distance from the mother ship. Is this a bug or a new play mechanic where fighters are no longer allowed to be deployed on planets? If this is a new mechanic, it is a horrible one. For those of us that don't pvp, the fighter is a welcome change on long explorations when you want to get out of your Anaconda and dodge in and out of canyons. Please fix or restore this mode of game play. Thanks!
