I uninstalled Steam and reinstalled because of an error and now it just hangs at the updating box when I click on the exe. I'm still on Windows 8.1, is that why? I just got a dirt cheap computer with win 11 and i7 and 16 gb ram and 200 some GB SSD on ebay for $80 plus $34 shipping. It will take several days to get to me. I can get a cheap 6gb graphics card later for PC2. I'm going to try installing Steam on that computer and PC1 again and move my saved stuff over from my current computer. I have two monitors on my table. I can have two PC's going at the same time.
