I meant once the game is loaded, it's telling me that "the game failed to communicate with the authentication server". Also when I have linked my account with Steam, there's no game in it.Which part do you mean? Is it the play/login button, or once the game has loaded? Sometimes the play goes back to login requiring you to give it a code from the email, but I don't know why it does this. Have you tried that?
If it's when the game has loaded up, is it telling you that you are connected to a server in the bottom left?
If in doubt, shove a screenshot up and see if anyone has any good suggestions.

Was getting this a few days ago. Tried clock synchro as suggested here (Frontier Support) and relogging in the launcher. Nothing worked until after I rebooted my PC. Not sure if it was just the reboot that fixed it or what."the game failed to communicate with the authentication server".

I have fixed it in steam options but there were no results. I don't know how to do a "sorted OP".Did you get it fixed? And by op I meant you - original post, apologies.

Yes, I bought it from G2A. One question. How do I suppose to contact them? By phone call or they have some page to contact?It might be that if you bought a steam key from a cheap key seller then although it might allow steam to install, it might be rejected by FDEV when you log in, if the key is actually invalid. As some dodgy key sellers can be.
I would contact frontier support and ask them. The key may not be valid.
