Can't lower flat roof bit by bit

How do i lower flat roof to use it as a floor it only goes quick up and down and not smooth like in geekism path tutorial video, can some one help me with that.

Nevermind found it in settings just had to check global vertical snapping.

you can change the grid size in the settings for that piece to allow for smaller increments. they are in the tabs in the lower right when that piece is selected.

Thanks already found out that in the settings menu was an option for global vertical snapping that was what i was searching. To bad gride size and grid height don't go smaller then what we have.
