Can't make an honest living, can't make a dishonest living.

Then stop complaining and carry on grinding.

I wasn't complaining. And I never asked you for your opinion on how to have fun. So next time read the post, if it has nothing to do with you I suggest you keep your comments to yourself.

Solo effects the same market. You are always effecting other players markets, even in solo.

.....I almost forgot about that.

Check your private messages sir :)

Found cargo being stolen is really stupid gameplay mechanic and it defies all logic. It is simply there to make black market more artifically more important and exciting. I think only cargo that you directly stolen from other ship should be flagged as stolen.

I am not stealing anything, I am just cleaning up the space.

No, when you find valuables near a burning car wreck in rl you can't just take them and say 'I found them, so the're mine now'. Because you actually steal them and the feds will take you into custody... mostly because they don't know if you had anything to do with the burning car... but in the end you'll also be fined for the stealing.
Same goes for a purse with money you find on the street. According to law you have to bring it to the lost property office. Otherwise you steal it.

Every piece of cargo has ID-Tags and serial numbers, that's why the feds know exactely that the picked up cargo isn't yours/shouldn't be in your cargo hold. So you have to smuggle it and sell it to a black market.

Obviously you want my comments since you went to the trouble of PMing me when I didn't respond to your post.

First you said the game is too much of a grind, but you're obviously not looking to avoid the grind and have fun since when I suggested that you said "I want the money".

No grind, no fun, just money? I guess you want it all handed to you.

No I didn't want YOUR comment. I didn't come to the forums pleading for Crumplecorn the almighty to respond to my post and rescue me from damnation. If anything your response should be constructive, not destructive. There's a time and a place for your banter Mr. Corn, and this isn't it. That PM was so that we could communicate mono e mono, to spare your disrespect the leisure which for no reason whatsoever was aimed at me as if I'm new to these forums, oblivious to the rules and respect for others unlike yourself. But if you desperately need to play the renegade, it would be best for you to go elsewhere. As I've already mentioned this isn't the time or the place, and your behavior is not welcomed here. Keep it up, I won't hesitate to bring this up to the mod's attention.

EDIT:

Better yet if a Mod could go ahead and close this thread to keep it from escalating, that would be nice.

There's no excuse for ignorance whatsoever, especially since the day I joined the forums for the most part has always remained peaceful, even with the occasional constructive criticism being handed out. In this case, I would rather be told something useful than to be disrespected the way Corn just did. Which is completely childish and unprofessional.

I have a nice little trade route for 2,000+ cr/t round trip. It took a little time and effort to find. No I won't tell you where, nobody else is even using it (that's a hint) :)

*scratches head* You know, with all the 400 billion systems and whatnot, I have to say I'm quite stumped at this point. Alright I give up. What's the location? :D

Wrong. It is very logical.

How do you think those cargo canisters came to be floating in space? They belonged to somebody and the owner did not just decide to toss that stuff out for the fun of it. Those cargo cans are there because of a criminal act.

But I think there should be some mechanic for legally exploiting them, like turning them in to the authorities for a salvage fee.

The periphery (of settled space) :D

If you looked around the floating cargo you'd see pieces of ship debris, which is the point I think Law was trying to make. But then again I can understand your logic as well. The criminal act being that the ship was destroyed due to unforeseen circumstances. If not in the middle of a fight, since they are there to begin with. Then perhaps the ship detonated leaving said cargo for reasons beyond explanation.
