Can't place exit

I can't place an exit path in this rail station, and then an alert comes out saying that the exit is inaccessible. And no one goes to the station then. Any solutions?

Could you post a picture of your actual station with connecting paths, maybe a top-down view?

Did you build the station with the correct settings to have the exit where you want it? You need to choose between both entrance and exit on the left, both entrance and exit on the right and entrance left, exit right; entrance right, exit left. Sorry if you know that and it isn't the issue - it's just something that isn't obvious if you haven't played planet coaster.

The picture appears to show he has placed the exit and entrance, but can't place the path. Do you have flatten terrain enabled, because that is most of the times the cause of not being able to place paths. Or is there a habitat barrier nearby? Those can block adjustments to the paths as well.
