Can't place floor tiles and items freely

I'm having problems in placing floor tiles and items. I press shift and adjust the height but always raise with a certain height. I could always place floor tiles freely, however, no matter how I adjust the height, the floor tile just stuck in the middle of the floor now.

You need to change the grid height to 'zero'.

Place it, then exit out and select it, remove it from group if it is in one. Then exit out again and select it, you should be able to press X to move it however you want. Then build off of that grid.

I just tried for 2 hours :cry::cry: but not working at all .. :’( Should I reinstall planet zoo instead?..
Feeling so helpless:cry:

Go to the game settings and check if "vertical snapping" is turned on in the global settings, if so turn it off and it should work again.

OMGOMGOMG! Thanks a lot!!!!! I can move items freely now! OMG I almost reinstall Planet Zoo!!!
Thanks x9999999999! <3

No problem, glad I could help :)

No idea why the game does this. I just know that I had the same issue not too long ago, and when I checked that option was turned on even though I didn't change anything myself. So yeah, when the game suddenly acts strangely always check those settings first, whether you changed something or not.
