Can't play anymore! Elite keeps crashing!

I've been on shortish expedition out to the witchead nebula and I stupidly killed myself crashing into a planet. I rebought my ship, but now the game keeps crashing at the spinning ship loading screen. The initial launch screen shows me as docked at HIP 23759.

I've tried launching in horizons, non-horizons, solo and open all with the same effect.

Any other pointers in how to get over this crash? I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms...

I've raised a ticket with no response after three days. How long do they normally take to respond to tickets?

Are you sure your ticket has gone through? Also, check your spam folder, you may well have been sent a reply via email and your provider has automatically filtered it to there.

Support website says response time up to 72 hours.

Did you get an acknowledgement email and can you log in and view your ticket? If no to these then there must have been an error on raising the ticket (captcha usually) so you should raise a fresh one.

Yes. I've received confirmation of the ticket. still no response.
