Can't Play My Premium Beta :(

You surely mean 'just to download beta software' and run it, right?

This is the purpose of the alpha and the beta process. Find the problems with the software and fix them. So go ahead, download the software and give it a go!! Good luck! You'll get it going, I am sure!

Of course, I'll go. I have 1 ssd and 2 hard drives. Each with an operating system. I'll install the beta on the least important disk. As that, I keep the integrity of two operating system, that I use everyday

This won't be the answer you want to hear... But I had the same problem... It'd launch the launcher, login, click play. The game would launch its window but just be a black screen that stop responding...

But, because my windows (8.1) installation had been flakey for a while now, and .. Well.. It's Elite isn't it.... I re-installed windows clean, got my drivers installed, installed steam (picking up my former games folder so nothing needed re downloaded) launched a couple of games from there to make sure everything good, then re downloaded Elite. The only thing I did different was to allow Elite to install in its default location... And hey presto... Works beautifully
