Can't play online since 1.05

Well that's a bit rubbish, I hope you get online soon. I have 1.05 downloading now for a quick half hour blast in my new viper before I go on night shift...

Fortunately, it also seems that it has already been dealt with and will go away on the next game update.

Think I know what I might have done wrong. I downloaded the Chromatic Aberration fix .exe and it was for 1.04. I guess the game won't let me go online with the older .exe now.
Can anyone tell me how to reinstall the game (not the launcher, I've already done this a couple of times) or if there's any way to check for file integrity ?

In the launcher, click on your email address at the top right after logging in, and select "Validate Game Files".
