Can't play the game, I get disconnected all the time

Hello,

I'm not sure if this goes here, but I'll try. I got the game Elite on PS4 about two weeks ago. Since the beginning, I get disconnected all the time mostly when uploading the mission's panel, but also when jumping to space or landing on stations.

It happens in solo and open game. Also, I can't never find any game on CQC.

What's the problem? I'm I the only one? Every other game that I play online works well, such as Monster Hunter World or Battlefield.

What can I do?

Try giving your PS4 a static IP and putting that in the DMZ of your router, and see if that works.

If you get fewer disconnects, look at fixing the situation with proper port forwarding. If no change, try a different router. If no other router available, try a direct to modem connection.

I have a direct connection to my modem to ps4, but still no dice. Also i noticed that i cannot access these forums on my phone with out LTE, wifi will not connect for me

This basically, we can all have a guess what's going on. CQC is pretty dead so is sometimes very hard to get any matchmaking so I wouldn't be concerned about that. I infrequently get a disconnection at SC transitions but its much rarer than it used to be, sometimes Elite just misbehaves but, if you are seeing this all the time then I would follow Labrunning's advice above and contact FDev directly.

Got it to work, on down detector someone said it was a cox issue that their ISP or something like that was blocking frontier’s ISP. Its over my head but it works now so im happy haha
