Can't plot a route anywhere

Edit: This is a bug due to me being in a white dwarf system. The fix is to target one system (not plot route) and jump out, then plotting works ok.

Logged in for the first time today and cannot plot a route anywhere at all. Route unavailable. I think this happened last night too but I ended up just plotting a jump directly to a nearby system anyway, which works OK.

I've got realistic mode set (no filters applied) and I've set the settings to plot fast routing and jet cones as usual.

Here's a video. Can anyone spot and point out the schoolboy error or am I just bugged?

Could possibly be related to the Odyssey bug that prevents route plotting while FSD is supercharged? Relog to Horizons and see if the route plotting works there?

I think I found your issue. You have a white dwarf in your current location, and I have the very same issue out near the galactic core, jumped into a white dwarf star system in Odyssey, route plotting fails even if I haven't overcharged my drives. Relogging to Horizons lets you move away from the white dwarf system and be able to jump again in Odyssey.

Good catch! I'll try a single jump and try again. Don't need to log into Horizons, just "select" a single system to jump to.

This was it. I'll add it to the OP.

Thanks!

Bump.
I'm surprised there isn't more noise being made about this. I cannot plot routes anywhere from where I am at the bottom of the galaxy if I have to synthesize a longer jump to the next stars, even when the lines on the map show I can reach said stars after the synth.

This results in the extremely irritating and boring situation where I need to synth-jump using Horizons and check for biologicals using Odyssey. For every goddamn system.
This is NOT good gameplay.

Feel like I'm in the same boat. It's like there's some invisible wall I can't get past. I'm about to jump into Horizons and see if can plot a long enough course to get out of here.

You can't plot using synth, you have to target using the target icon to do your synth jump.

Not sure why my thread got necro'd, the issue I was reporting is no longer an issue so far as I know (I've plotted from WD systems many times since with no issues). General "I can't plot through permit zones" griping has nothing to do with my issue.

Yeah Moonweb was having a problem with synthesis and thought it was the same issue, it isn't, synthesis works differently from N/WD boosting.

This is happening right now in Horizons. I attempted the jump to another star system. Still does not work. It Plots to 51%, 53% or 63% but no further. Is this still part of the white dwarf system issue? Please advise.

How far away, have you deselected stars in your filter, if so reselect them all, is there a permit locked region between you and your destination, are the stars close enough together to jump between etc, you have given us so little information there are at least half a dozen reasons why this can happen. I have no issues with white dwarfs in Odyssey so I don't know where that particular problem comes from, but yours is a route plotting issue not a jump issues so it's entirely different!
