can't redeem partner key on Oculus home

Hi guys, i bought ED in the steam sale and generated a partner key for Oculus home on the Frontier store so i can use it directly with the rift. doesn't matter what i do the key will not be accepted, iv'e contacted Frontier and got a response saying i must be inputting the key wrongly and must be putting a O instead of a zero or vise verser. There is only one zero in the whole code[where is it].

I have tried many times but the code simply won't work and im not getting any help from Frontier it seems. any ideas?

You don't need to do this. Just open the version you already have and go to graphic options and enable 3D HMD. Then just launch the game from the FD launcher.

He might not need to, but if he's like me he'll want it anyway. Faced with a problem like this, I won't rest until it's sorted. I might never use it, but I refuse to be beaten by something that should just work. I'm afraid I don't have any good advice for you OP - I got a key and redeemed it with no fuss as I recall - and now it just sits in my Not Installed folder. Ensuring you have the 'install items from unknown sources' or whatever that setting is might be blocking the key?

If you already have ED installed and working and it will work in VR why would you want to install another version? Your attitude to this seems totally ridiculous to me.

I didn't install it - just made sure the key works, should I ever decide I do want to install it. Doesn't strike me as ridiculous.

Strange, I didn't have any problems when I did it, a while back. I think I copy/pasted the key, to avoid problems. If that doesn't work, you might want to open a ticket with Oculus. They're actually pretty quick to respond.
