Newcomer / Intro Can't Register !!!!!!!!!one11111!!oneoneone

The registration page of the game (https://www.elitedangerous.com/en/register?) is NON WORKING. Any attempt to complete registration is blocked by those <cuddly> PEGI logos.
I can´t believe a game this expensive has this kind of problem. I´m <oops swear filter cut a word here> FURIOUS. Please, kindly remove those logos PRONTO or else i´ll ask for a <cuddle>.

Have you tried running the page in a different browser or in a compatibility mode?

Ah, ok. I use Chrome which removed the stylesheets from the page and I see the PEGI nonsense you were talking about.

If there is a little shield on your URL bar click on it and you will see a warning that the "page is running scripts from unauthorised sources". Click load scripts to see the page as intended.

Give that a try.

Would help if you tell us which browser you are using.

I use firefox and have no problems.

As for expensive. Compared to what? Most PC games are about the game price these days.

It is most likely your browser settings.

I 2nd lupin. ED isn't expensive for a PC game and compared to an Xbox One game it is cheap.

once you're sorted you'll see it was well worth it.

Thanks everyone,
i was able to sort the problem by downloading an extension to Firefox that disables themes.
Still, it´s odd that only a few people were having this issue - Firefox became almost standard a few years ago thanks to reliability - It´s a very unpleasant surprise to see it bugging out on an important webpage form, like explorer used to do.
Sorry the rude text - i love space sims like the X-universe series, freelancer and Darkstar one, so i lost my cool after trying to register 95 consecutive times.
Thanks again.

About the price thing... ignore my angry rantings, it´s just that dollar got a sudden high back in my country, so the price tag jumped here to double (something like a game priced at U$120,00).

Glad it all worked out in the end.

A little off-topic but I highly doubt Firefox is the new standard browser too. I'd say IE still beats Firefox. Chrome on the other hand...
