Can't scan private data beacon's.

So I have been scaning "High Energy Wakes" for "Data Mined Wake Exceptions" for 3 days straight not getting a singel one(annoying) so that I might upgrade my "FSD Range".

I learned that you can get DMWE's from "Private Data Beacons" by jumping in on "Encoded Emission Signals". So I'vr been jumping in 2 of those signals and I can't seem to scan the god damn thing.

Data scanner is powered and in range but NOTHING IS HAPPENING!
I am so god damn annoyed because it seems like the game don't want me to progress!!
Someone here who have experienced the same thing that have found a solution!?
Please help!!

They scan automatically, don't they? Always have for me in uss. Like beacons and stuff.

Given you scanned wakes for 3 Days and collected lots of data is maybe your data Storage full?

Data beacons don't use the data scanner. It's just the default "scanning" you get by targetting and pointing at the beacon.

Like Bomba Luigi says, it's probably because your data storage is full. You don't get a warning, it just scans as normal. You use up the beacon too, which is frustrating when you realise and clear some space.
