You know, although it's early days and I'm still scrabbling may way up to purchase a Hauler, it's dawned on me that I'm missing some pretty wondrous sights. All that work put in by the devs and I might as well be on railway lines going through the Channel Tunnel! I keep telling myself that "once I've got a ....... (probably be an Anaconda ) I'll be content and do a bit of sightseeing, and lose the lust for credits".

Doctor, have a really got the FMD (Fat Merchant Disease)?

I went from Hauler to Viper, and did a lot of long range delivery missions. You get to visit a lot of the space stations, and you get more acquainted with the galaxy map, since you will need to do a fair amount of star hopping. It's also reasonably profitable. I did that for a while before trading the Viper in for the Type 6.

You're not alone buddy. After a slow rocky start I finally got on the trading path to riches. Got my Type-6 and half way to the Type-9 but am considering taking a break and getting a Viper. Luckily since you get your money back when you buy a new ship it won't set you back. Just slow your earning down a bit.
